Boys & Girls of Summer...

Hey there folks! I seem to be on a roll with this whole updating thing, so I'm going to try and keep it going!! These designs were done a ways back at the beginning of the summer for a summer course focusing on Indian marriages in comparison to American marriages. It was fascinating to study and helped me develope a deeper respect for the culture. Brittney Lee was a heavy influence for these designs, since I admire her sense of weight without the use of line, or very little of it. Summer is coming to a close fast--I better go get back to drawing (or in my case now: ANIMATING!!)!

Cheers,

-h.

Great drawings! I see you included the heavy 18K gold ornaments. They wear some fantastic gold belts around their waists too. I really like their use of color, such as brides frequently wearing red. I have seen many photos of friends weddings and the flower covered arbors and 4 days of celebrating is very attractive. Probably exhausting though.
Keep up the great work! I love to see your work!
